Carpets, Rugs and Textiles Sale on Tuesday 9th July 2002 Lot 66 Nahavend Persian rug, Northwest Persia about 1950, 6ft.11in. x 5ft.4in. 2. 11m. x 1.63m. £140-160 Slight colour run. Nehavend or Nahavand is a town in the Hamadan area that produces larger rugs that are similar in style to some rugs from the Sarouk area. They are single wefted, cotton foundation, Turkish knotted rugs.
