Reigned 1556 - 1605
Akbar succeeded his father Humayun and became an Shah of Shah or Padishah in India. he died in 1605.
Akbar as a young man memorized large portions of the Hamza-nama and preformed them. Possibly dyslexic Akbar was unable to read but he had a keen mind and a vast intellect.
Akbar was 14 when he became king.
