JBOC: Dennis is
one of the most knowledgeable people of whom I know.
However I think this is a Akstafa from the Kazak area
rather than a type of Shirvan. So while we both call it
an Akstafa we just disagree on where Akstafa rugs are
made. Keep in mind Dennis is supported by most people on
this and my view is not (yet) gennerally accepted.
Akstafa
Rugs are part of the broader category of Caucasian Rugs
and Caucasian Carpets
